Fashion & Farming Speakers
Reconnecting Fashion to Farming
Fashion and farming are part of who we are. Once inextricably linked, the farm-to-food-and-fabric cycle has been broken.
How we farm and how we create fashion is killing us. This inaugural weekend will bring together creative minds, change makers and dreamers to sow the seeds for fresh ideas.
The Event
Don't miss this opportunity to explore the connection between what we wear and where it comes from. Whether you're a fashion enthusiast, a farmer or simply curious about the relationship between these two worlds, Fashion & Farming weaves together two stories that might lead to a brighter future.
Confirmed speakers include Sir Tim Smit, The Eden Project, Carry Somers, Fashion Revolution, The Land Gardeners, Bay Garnett, Creative director, Coco Panazza, My Wardrobe HQ, Darina Allen, Ballymaloe Cookery School, Simon Coveney, TD, Sean O’Sullivan, SOSV (USA), Mairéad McGuinness, MEP, Brigid Barry, Farming for Nature, Dylan Jones, London Evening Standard, Adam Clayton, U2 and gardener, Mary Fellowes, sustainability expert, Alison Gault, Belfast School of Art, Lilian Gleave, student activist, Tom Grafton, Recomme, Blátnaid Gallagher, The Galway Wool Co-op, Brendan Dunford, Burrenbeo Trust.
